This site is intended first for those who are considering applying for a gold dragon and second for those who have already applied. Of course, the applicant for other colors may also find much of value here and all may find much that is entertaining!
Here you will find a collection of comments and stories from people who have applied for gold, somewhere, sometime. They are, one and all, uncensored. I myself do not agree with many things written herein but this site was not set up to offer my opinion; it was set up to gather together many people's opinions, thoughts, and pearls of wisdom. Submissions cover a big range of opinions and attitudes -- not to mention experience and experiences. At present, all submissions are from the archive, generally dated 2001-2004.
These submissions concern the process of Search on MOO or MUSH type online role-play games themed on Anne McCaffrey's Pern books. They are not related to goldriding in the books.

I personally left Pern gaming in 2005 and RL concerns mean I have comparatively little interest in returning. I did, however, have a lot of fun. This site went down around then and with little interest conveyed to me, I left it in limbo. However, some acquaintances have recently expressed an interest in seeing it back again, so here it is. Right now, I am just slowly uploading everything I have archived and rebuilding a sensible structure for it. Please be patient; I'm doing this as a favor when I can find some time.
I suppose I could have redone these pages as they were but in the interest of usefulness, I though I'd move to a wiki format and allow commenting*. Please be polite and note that in the interest of keeping this place civilized, I may edit comments.
